Clear rear fogs?

Does anyone have information of where I can get a clear rear fog for my 06 MINI? I would perfer the option of putting a red bulb in a clear rear or just use it as a clear rear light.

No Problem, I'm looking at doing it myself in a few months (memorial day weekend project maybe) ; just may want to try the search function to get a quicker answer sometimes.

I think for starters i am going to just do the clear housing with the red blub (and I think it would be great with a red LED blub) not the combined fog/reverse/brake light.

The clear housing is simply the 04 (and earlier) backup light, and costs around $10-$12 from the dealer. It is completely compatible with the 05/06 rear fog, just has a clear lens instead of red.

By the way, if you go for LED, it will be a challenge to find a bright one that fits. With a standard bulb, you might want to get a silvered one (that lights up red) if you don't want the housing to look reddish when the bulb is off.

www.autolumination.com.

1156 24LED matrix bulb $8.99 each. Comes in red or clear. Only problem I had was a polarity issue. Just crossed the leads to the housing and resoldered them and it works great as an extra backup light. The LED is way brighter than a standard bulb too.
