As many of you guys know, my MINI was attacked by a crazy lady in a POS Corolla over 2 weeks ago... Needless to say, the wait to get her back has been AGONIZING. I've been having some major issues with the body shop doing the work on her (wrong parts ordered, lack of communication - my main point of contact was fired last week).

Well, I got a new guy who I'm working with now who managed to get all the parts he needed in just over a day. She's being sent to the paint shop tonight, and will hopefully be good as new and back to me by Friday (just in time for Spring Thing in St. Pete!).

Please keep your fingers crossed for me, say a prayer, sacrifice a... Well, you know what I mean!

Thanks for helping me though these past few weeks!
Tony

Hang in there Tony!

Anything worth doing is worth doing well. It may take a bit but make sure it's done RIGHT!

Best Wishes,

-Jim

Bummer Tony, I was hoping you would end up totalled and waiting for your new car. Since that is not the case I hope they fix her up better than new. Good luck and I am sorry!

Tnoy,

If the shop is good you will never notice a thing. Also, if your insurance company backs the shop the work could carry a lifetime warranty. I know the shop my friend owns is an Allstate shop and he repairs done by him carry a lifetime warranty.

However, some people may shy away if it gets on to a CARFAX report.

I'll ride a motorcycle to Spring Fling if I have to.
I am sure you could hitch a ride Tony...just in case.

Hey guys!

I got my MINI back tonight!!!!!

It took damn near a month to fix, but they did an AMAZING job on her. The body work is fantastic, and mechanically, she runs just like she did when I drove her off the lot!

I'm probably more excited than the day I took her home the first time! I'm off to MOTOR! Thanks for all your support over the last few weeks!

Tony

CONGRATS Tony!

Just for the record, I have already wrecked my POS Toyota Corolla ('81 wagon no less), so it wasn't and/or won't be me!

AWESOME!!!! And even better, my sister is no longer in South Florida, so you don't have to look out for her either!!!! Then again, my grandmother's still there so you might still want to look out!!!
