Drive the MINI to work we have a gully washer . One thing I noticed the stock rubber is not that good in the big FL rains. I will be looking for options soon. I will stay with the run-flats because it is best for my wife. Just need a better rain tire.

Where do you live in Florida? I've been looking for other Floridians that drive MINIs. I live in Celebration.

The only suggestion I would make is to go to www.Tirerack.com and check out their tire ratings for each tire you would consider. They list resistance to hydroplaning, tire noise, tire wear, etc. . from people that already use that specific tire. Also, since you live in FL, why not go with a performance tire and scrap the all-season??

Bridgestone potenza S03's are very good in the rain.
also try AvidH4's from Yokohama tires. they are very good for the price.

Yeah, my traction control lights flashed a few times in the rain yesterday. I could feel the runflats break loose a couple times!
