How many miles did you put on in the first year?

Hey guys! Just wondering how many miles you put on your first year! Once i take delivery in like 6 weeks I will have a little over a year left of school. So I will be commuting to work and school for a year and estimate the mileage at 25k maybe more for the first year! Anyone put on that much or more during the first year?

I did about 11,000 in the first six months but a lot of people do way more than that. Just enjoy it, try not to worry about racking up the miles

First MINI: 12,600 in 2.5-3 months.
Second MINI: 5600 in 4 months... (but with a month or so in the paint shop and 3200 of those miles were done in the first 2 weeks.... and the other 2200 were done in January...)

First birthday is April 15, and I'll definitely hit 20K . It's not a commuter and I also own a Ford Escape and a Harley.

I just can't keep out of it.

It'll be a yr next month, bought my MCS with 6k miles on it... now have 32k miles. So about 26,000 miles a yr for me!
and I Love every mile with my MCS. And now this spring i will be starting my mods and upgrades, which will equal an InSanE amount of miles... i think i'll even be driving in my sleep....

I'm at around 18500 now at ~10 months... I imagine I'll be in the 20 to 25k group.

At 1 year I had ~20K miles, but ~16K of those were put on in the first 5 months. Then we traded in our truck for a Scion xB and that became the vehicle we took on trips and one of us is always driving it while the other one drives their 'fun' car to help save miles them. The Scion is 8 months old and has ~25K on it already

1800 in the first year

I swore I would never buy my son a car when he was 16. But when I decided I had to have a MINI, I got one. He was only 8 at the time, so I put it in the garage, covered it up, and left it there.

Since that time I have come to my senses, discovered MINI5280, AMVIV, the Dragon, MitM, and more.

Pushing 30k now, 3 years later.
