Is it correct that there is a 35k service and 50k warrantee. I am now at 31500 and overdue for my 30k service.

I remember that they offered a increase in the service. Did anyone get it and whats it cost. What does it cover?

 

3 year 36,000 on the service. 50,000 on the warranty

 

3 Year 36K on service..extended to 50k is 799.00 in Texas.

 

What is the next service after 30k and whats it cost?

 

I was told by the Finance person it costs around 800 dollars for required maintenance at 45K. Not sure if that is true, but I felt better knowing I was covered up to 50K.

 

Just an educated guess (because I really don't know regarding the Mini), but probably the brakes are a big thing at 45k

 

btw, $800 now for an $800 job later is not the same price as $800 later. That's 6 months of interest you could be earning (or paying off debt..)

 

Bet is is all DOOM AND GLOOM the Finance man is painting to SELL that high profit package. I have not heard what the 45k service gets you for the $800. I wonder is it is like the $350 run flats you can get online for$156

 

If you really want it, you can shop around from dealership to dealership. It's all the same. It's a MINI warranty, So it's honored by any MINI dealership. I bought my car at Sterling, and at 34,000 miles i bought the extended warranty from Tate for $300 less than Sterling was offering.
