How many MCO'ers have 20,000+ miles one their MINIs already?

I'm closing in on 21,000. Gabe is probably hot on my heals too. Who else?

20300 - all highway miles I swear  I imagine we'll hit 21,500 around my car's 1st birthday in April. Not forseeing any more corss country trips I imagine it'll be down to around the 15k per year range from now on.

Looks like I'm going to open up a good gap on you then in April, since I'm going to put 2500 miles on the MINI driving out to L.A. and back.

I have a feeling you'll be out in front for good at that point. So how does it feel to have the most miles on an MCS in the country?

I haven't been the highest mileage for a while. Someone reported that they had 27,000 on a MCS a month or so ago.

Hi Dave, wow! you are realling racking up the miles in your MCS!

We are at 4,300+ miles since we took delivery of our '02 Cooper CVT 6 months ago which works out to an average of only 716 miles per month!.

We are planning a couple of roadtrips this year, so hopefully we'll add more miles to the odometer counter.

9500 miles since Ocotober 8th. 800 miles (less than 2 weeks) to my 10,200 mile service!!!

BTW, for those who might remember - I originally leased my car. I chose to lease b/c I wasn't sure how long I wanted to keep my MINI. Only b/c I knew that within a few years there would be a much faster (JCW works) MINI around and I'd want that one. Well although I got an 18k mile a year lease, I'm looking at probably 25k miles a year. That's going to make VERY costly turning my MINI in at the end of the lease. So I've already talked with BMW financing and have decided to finance the car now instead of waiting - I'll save a lot of money that way. So now in 3 yrs I'll OWN my MINI instead of needing a new car and owing a whole lot on my lease for excess miles.

I also wanted to switch b/c I spend half of my day now on the Performance Mods forums. I want to mod my car quite a bit so I had better buy it!

bwaaaaahahahahaha yea ive got you all beat

24783 this morning and ive only owned it going on five months now !!! ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the inhumanity i cant stop driving what is mini doing to me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well im trying to cut down cause i dont want the care to be used up so soon but i admit 5000 miles a month is a bit exsessive. i dont think ive got people beat on the milage but im a contender for mini cooper s milage for owning a car for 5 months and puting that many miles on a car. it only had 4 when i picked her up!

Dave - I thought I was bad with 20,500 (picked up 6/13). With the 100 mile comute every day + weekend drives it really adds up.
