My mini's scheduled for a May 15th production date! So I'll definately have it by the end of June! That still seems so long though. But I look forward to a summer full of motoring...

I got my production date, May 9th! Ordered from Long Beach. They said it should arrive mid June so I'm trying to make plans to fly down (I live in SF). Timing it right is so difficult - as difficult as it was for me to decide on the specs... This is what I ended up ordering....What do you guys think
Liquid Yellow Cooper with White Top
CVT (don't know how to drive stick and due to the bay area traffic, probably will never.)
Black leatherette (I have 3 pugs so I cloth won't do and leather is too delicate)
Sports Package
Xenon
Auto AC
Computer
Navi System
Chrome
HK Sound
Leather Steering

I'm still torn between the interior color, MFSW & between 16 & 17 rims. What do you guys think? I know this has been discussed to death...

Just a quick question...

I ordered my MINI about three weeks ago, for a May build/ late June delivery.
(My lease on my Honda isn't up until June 27.)
I haven't received my prod. #.
Should I call and check up on the order?
Is this too long to wait for a number?

Thanks!

Black 'n Blue,
Thanks for the tip! I drove over there tonight and took a look.
You should have warned me I'd need a paper bag for hyperventilating!
There were so many of the little suckers. Looking at them all lined up, they
really did look like a bunch of anxious puppies just waiting to be unleashed.
LOL I think I even saw one wag its tail.

well, i did it.

a year and a half after the obsession began, it's actually going to happen. yesterday i put down my deposit and placed my order on a pepper white/black cooper. not too many of those around here in the columbus ohio area. they gave me an estimated arrival date of sometime in late june/early july. but i figured i would be a bit optimistic and post here. i just hope my current car lasts that long. they are supposed to call me monday or tuesday and give me my production number, so i can finally enter this mysterious land known as the 'owner's lounge.' i don't think it's hit me yet. i ordered my mini. well, it looks like i won't be getting much sleep until july, that is if last night was any indication.

Boy have I been on a rollercoaster ride! (And not in my MINI either!!)
I found out from the dealer yesterday (when I stopped in to get my prod. #)
that my MINI, which was scheduled to be built in May, has ALREADY been
built and has a VIN # and everything. So, he expected it to arrive at the end of May,
instead of end of June as was expected.
Of course, I was all excited about picking it up and bringing it home early, until my fiancé
brought me back to reality--the lease on my current car isn't up till the end of June,
so I have to wait as planned. (It'd be pretty tight to pay for two cars, the insurance, etc.)

I can't STAND the thought of my little car sitting all alone in the lot for a whole month.
What if someone scratches her? What if some little snotty kid gets fingerprints on her?
What if there's a massive hailstorm? ARG!
I'm gonna have to go visit every day until I can unload my Honda.

OK. Enough bellyachin'. Sorry.

i got my production number a few days ago, and im finally set up on the owner's lounge. so i'm still on order, but i've got an estimated production day of may 23rd. Anyone else? Does anyone know if cars are usually produced earlier or later than this initial estimated date? i just placed my order less than a week ago and the wait is already getting to me!

i'm now scheduled for production. i've gotten into the bad habit of checking the owners lounge everyday. it's hard not to. but it was a nice surprise yesterday when something actually changed! i've got an estimated production date of May 16th. so when/where do we start seeing these production codes?

by the way, what's up with the June club? May is putting us to shame.

Whats up with June club?

It is darn tough to wait.....writing about waiting seems to make it worse...for me. Maybe if we all started dealing with it through this thread it could make it easier. Hear the good news, watch deliveries actually happen. Did the other months take off slowy, ie. March, April? One thing I am seeing is our dates changing with some deliveries happening sooner, rather than later. Either pleasing the heck out of some or adding confusion to others.

I decided to buy a scale MINI and sit here with it to add "accessories". It took me as long to find the right one in scale as it did to order the real guy, fun wheels, sunroof to match. Whatever keeps me tamed right now.

Minicooper group has made it so much better to decide on accessories, make the right choices and save some money with directions to the right vendors. Hasn't eluded me to buy them now and sit waiting for delivery day.

"Little Liter" is very small right now (1/18), hoping the real one will be here when least expected, hopefully sooner.

I'm really a JUNE!.....just checked and my production date of May 9 is now on board the Tancred heading to Port Hueneme, CA. After so long with no changes in the Lounge, everything moved. Ship arrival is 5/27....things can always change, but betting on MINI getting here (Denver) before June ends.

BJ...Meant to ask....Did you get your car yet? If you did, how long did transport take from Port/CA? There were enough MINIs at Schomp a couple of weeks ago to up our population by 10%

Ordered mine april 19th,
DS/B HK foglights, premium pack, anthracite, magnesium grey, space cloth, and whatever else that comes with it (like a gigantic grin everytime i think about June)

Expecting late June delivery, a little bit after my graduation! Things are just coming together in june....

Now, it would be just awesome if the darn thing would move from "on order" to "scheduled for production" and giving me a vin would be nice. I wonder if I can memorize that... like I did with my production number and the 10+ vanity plate possibilities I have waiting... Yeah. I probably would. It's sick.

Maybe it's time for another "test" drive... or I could test drive some other cars for fun, like a GTI or a SRT-4. hahahaha

anyways... can't wait for june.

jinubob81, you'll have to post pics when it arrives. Especially of the interior! I was wondering about that same combo, but went with the patina instead. I'm sure it'll look awesome

you'll probably get yours before me.... my "estimated" production date is May23rd, but i dont even have a VIN yet. Bahh! I'm beginning to hate the "on order" status...

So, for that matter, you should post pics of your car, cause i was thinking about patina!

Hey fellow Junees,

How do you find out the name of the ship that your car is on, estimated arrival date and port?
All the MINI USA site will tell me is that my car is en route.

Thanks!!

Hello All!

I ordered my Mini back in April and was told it was already scheduled for May production. I have since recieved my production # (8711075) and tried to log on to Miniusa but it says that the number is not in the system? I am in Canada so this may be the reason, and I tried to call 1-800-ASK-MINI but it cannot be reached from my area. Any fellow Canuaks know how I can track the production? Thanks,

Zoomby_U
