I got a real kick out of that show. They got more free stuff than ever before. Lots of ( not so subtle marketing )

 

 

lol.....Did anyone else notice when they were "gutting" the MINI, and that one guy through out the seats, he said, "Anyone want some leather upholstry?" And it was the PLEATHER! Grrrr....more amunition for the pleather lovers.

 

It was like watching a boob job in progress. The end results are fantastic, but just so painful to watch!!!

 

LOL....that's classic. I'll have to remember that one.

 

i heard that the Mini snowmobile will be in NJ on friday

 

I enjoyed the show... sort of like watching ****... no redeeming value, but you watch it anyway. So, I actually think at the end of the show that it was a stupid waste of money and effort. They took a perfectly good car, and they suceeded into dumping a fortune of money into it to turn it in to a perfect piece of crap. The snowmobile results where they are racing Richard Petty was perfectly laughable. The had to undercrank the filming to make it appear to be moving fast. I am completely certain on the road with packed snow the mini was faster without the track or skis.... Pathetic. Why bother. They talk about 3000$ budget which of course was a joke, since they got about $6000 worth of engines, not to mention an almost $20000 car... Then there prize a bunch of tools... give me a break. Just like a **** film probably won't watch it again. Sad

i think the discovery channel re-run's the show again....not sure

but i taped it anyway, cause i'm not home on monday nights
and i'll watch it tomorrow night

 

You can see the Monster Machines show on Saturdays at 7:00pm Eastern- 6:00pm Central! I like the idea of taping it so I'm going to set up the VCR for Saturday!
