Most of us have some sort of MINI mascot, that's just the kind of people we are. I want to know what rides with you in your MINI, including the story behind it and pics if possible, I bet there's some great ones out there! I'll start by offering the story of mine...

My MINI mascot is Blue Lizard. Blue Lizard was the favorite toy of a 5-year-old kid named Riley, the son of a buddy of mine. When I first got the MINI last July, I drove it over to show it off, and when I was about to leave, Riley yelled to wait and ran back in the house. He came out with a little blue plastic lizard, which according to his dad was his most extra favoritest toy. Riley handed the lizard to me and said "Here, take him with you in your minicar" Both me and his dad carefully asked if he really wanted to give up his favorite blue lizard, and he said, and I quote, "Yeah, Blue Lizard wants to see the world, and if he goes in your minicar then he can see the world and keep you safe at the same time."

Well, I didn't have to be told twice, and me and Blue Lizard have been a MINI team ever since. I show him the world, and he keeps me safe, or at least he has so far. He rides on the dashboard, and he never ever slips even when I do crazy "wheeeeeee" turns, I guess his big paddle feet keep him in place. And whenever I go over to my friend's house, Riley always makes a point to go out and visit with Blue Lizard, apparently they discuss all the places Blue Lizard has been. It's like something out of Toy Story!

So let's hear YOUR stories!

Ive got my monkey.. except shes 39) gave me patrick to put in my car! she says everyone needs a little mascot for their car!

Oh.. and Patrick sits in the ashtray up front, whereas the monkey is in the backseat cupholder. I also, named the car Patrick because of my little patrick starfish!

PittsburghMark - love the story of your mascot. Little Riley will remember you and the Mini for the rest of his life. It is great that you know how important this is to the little guy. 5 yrs old are so innocent and adorable.

I have a Minnie Mouse in my Mini (red w/black roof) - named Mimi which is short for Minnie Mouse and sounds good - Mimi the Mini. Also have a white husky dog (beanie baby size) to represent my alma mater - UConn - go Huskies.

Eek the Cat is my mascot. For those of you who remember "It never hurts to help"

I'll have to take a picture tomorrow to share. Eek brings good karma if I do say so myself.

Sorry, no pics, but I've got an absolutely smashing white and brown bulldog. He's about 8" tall, sitting down, wearing a stocking cap and a scarf. Most importantly, he's got a soccer ball nestled between his front legs, and when you squeeze him right, he breaks out into the international soccer song-" Olay, olay-olay-olay..." He's seatbelted in behind the driver in the back. Got him from my daughter. We're a soccer playing duo, she and I, though my knees are long past their prime. The dog looks ready to go, however

I have a little penguin that sits in one of the front cupholders - fits exactly

BUT he is black and white, like my MC ... don't know if he will go into the new Blue MCS; maybe I need a "little blue" penguin (they have real live ones at the local New England Aquarium, but I don't know if they have stuffed toy versions in MINI cup holder size).

I have a little green and blue turtle that I picked up in Cozumel, Mexico while I was there on vacation. I got it as a symbol. Don't underestimate the power of
"THE M1N1".

Mark,

My MINI is still crossing the Atlantic so no mascot yet. I have to say that I am very partial to your blue lizard though!

Oooh, Owen!

Love your live mascots, Ashe and Gee! Do they like to ride with you in the MINI?

I don't have a mascot, per se....I hang a pair of fuzzy red dice from the rear view mirror, with a red valentine heart ring attached to one side! Tee hee!
