Just thought i'd give you all a heads up! The latest issue of rolling stone magazine has the "Manual of Motoring" inside! The manual includes tips on how to stash things in the heated/cooling glove box, Parking tips, attracting attention, giving your mini a name and other things!

I suggest looking for it! It's a cute lil 16 page booklet! Good luck finding it!

Cheers!

Dave

Was yours delivered in the mail? I just left a store after ripping apart 3 issues looking for the insert. Confetti all over the place and no Manual of Motoring. Now I can't ever go back to that store!

Like i said in the original post, It can be found in the current issue of rolling stone magazine. The cover features the band Phish! It is the March issue! Don't ask me what page it is in, because my issues of rolling stone go to my sister & she just gives me what she finds!

Sorry to hear about that lifetime ban from the magazine shop. I know how you feel, as I am not allowed into any Chuck-E-Cheese anywhere, ever!

You say that like it is a bad thing. My wife visibly shudders every time someone says that name. Only a parent can understand the horror.

The Manual of Motoring is also in the latest edition of Metropolis Magazine, for those of you in the architecture/interior design/graphics/industrial design professions.

I saw a new billboard here in indianapolis last week: It's a Red Cooper/Black top and the ad copy reads "white bread sure had a nice run" or something to that effect. I'll try a nd get a photo and post it.

The insert that is similar to the UOM is in the current issues of Metropolis, Rolling Stone and The New Yorker at least. But if it's like the cool ads from last year, you'll only find them in the subscription versions of the mags.

Somebody speak up if you've seen one in a newstand copy.
Motor on...
