Would you buy a Mini if.......

the car was a great deal, but not the right colour? I prefer gray, dark blue, yellow or red, but I am looking at a '04 MCS with 10K for about $14000?
Thanks

I like all colors, except one which shall remain nameless, so personally I would be up for most colors. Is it a color you like? If so get it! What color is the one your looking at?

that's the way it is with used cars

if you have to have exactly what you want, buy new.

I didnt like the Liquid Yellow, but it was a deal I couldnt pass up, and now I think it is the perfect color.

If you can live with it, you may grow to love it, I did.

Well for me when I find the right used car it's the condition & cost that matter the most. Color is something that one usually has to compromise on.

Hmmm, an 04 S with 10,000 miles for 14k ....................

Unless, it's an insurance recovery or flood damaged buy it! Even if it's not "your" color, then put it right back on the market for a better price or flip it with the dealer.

Even if it has nothing and I mean nothing as far as options, that car should sell for at least 17,500 private party and get you about 16,500 dealer trade it.

Hey if it is West Coast I want it, that way the wife stops taking mine.

And the Electric blue is a killer color. I would jump all over it, or tell me or smokey who and where.

Agree, with either the white or black top Not so sure if it had a body color, but that would mean roof graphic

What a shame! Electric Blue is a fantastic color! Shows the least road grime, too!

Hey Bumble78, I think I am leaning towards yellow. Ater seeing the pics in the gallery by LY_B_MCS_08, thats just the way I would want mine. I don't know what the cost would be to convert the base mcs, but that sure is a beaut.

If you go back just a couple of weeks or so, there was a guy from Va. who had a, I think an '04 MCS, that he let go for around $13,500. So miracles do happen, but I doubt it will happen again before I end up getting mine

I would give an arm and a leg for an Electric Blue. Actually I need those to drive, so I'll give a liver.

Good luck with the search..

I would definately not buy a car that wasnt the right color. I'd drive almost any MINI color but there are 3 that I would refuse to own... EB isn't one of them. I love the color.

I decided on my MINI because of cost, not color and I've learned to absolutly adore it. I would have liked IB/W and ended up with JB/W. The Panda suits me well.

It depends. When I went to drop off my specs to order my mini, the MA said we've got a convertible available in another color if you'd like to see it. I thought why not. I'd seen the color on my computer screen, but when I saw it in person I didn't like it as well. Then, when I looked inside, my first thought was that the person who'd ordered this was color blind because the interior colors and the exterior color clashed horribly. It also had extra stuff that I didn't need.

I think at different times in our lives we are more geared to immediate gratification than others. I was willing to wait 4 months to get the exact Mini I wanted.

It's Electric Blue and simply the best color out there for a MCS. How could you NOT like it?
