Phase 1 of "Malibu Stacy's New Clothes" is complete! Mike did a great job, and Stacy is stylin' - just as I had envisioned! Hopefully Phase 2 will happen within the next few weeks.

I absolutely love it! I agree that more pics would be a good thing! I am currently working on my roof graphic (PPE and I have discussed and come to the conclusion that we both have excellent taste ). So what's next?

Thanks everybody!!!! I was going for a sporty/sexy look. The pink is essentially "hot pink". The color was difficult to capture digitally inside, under the flourescent lights. Mike (whose hair is red/orange) took some additional photos outside, which will show up soon, I'm sure. Now that my secret is out anyway... there are matching bonnet and boot stripes which hopefully will go on next month. This has been a long process... I started with the graphics concept, used that to choose my MINI's color, and then built her insides. It feel GREAT to finally see it come to life. This evening some random non-MINI driving dude on the freeway pulled up next to us and rolled his window down, just so he could give me thumbs up! Now THAT'S what I'm talkin' 'bout! Here are the other pix I have right now...

 

Hey, hey Batgirl! Very awesome results! Quick question...did they place the graphic directly over the sunroof and then trim to fit? I would love to design a full roof graphic over my top, but I was concerned that the sun roof would not allow this! Any tips on how you designed this graphic would be totally cool also! Details like original graphic size and resolution...you know, the gory detail stuff! Thanks and again...it turned out completely neato!

 

It was installed right over the sunroof, then trimmed to allow the sunroof to open. As for actually creating it, contact Mike (dragonflyer) at Aesthetic Creations. I chose the colors, Mike printed it.

Holy Hello Kitty Batgirl!

What an awesome look! I wanted to do a grey union jack on Heidi when I first got her but I chickened out. You have rekindled my interest in roof graphix. I can't wait to see what is next for Malibu Stacy.

 

I've been thinking about doing an antiqued gray union jack on mine, too. I think it would look awesome with the dark silver scheme I have. Let me know if you ever get the guts up to do it!
