Picked up my baby today!!

So after 3 months of waiting, I was finally able to pick my cooper up. Its pretty basic: royal grey, silver roof/mirrors, auto, premium package, 16'in wheels, aux, alarm, extended warranty, lojack. Now I need to look into some after market mods I can do. Any suggestions? I bought it at South Bay Mini in Torrance and Jennifer and Freddie were both helpful and friendly. She gave me the alarm for cost because they sent me the wrong OTD price.

Nice looking Cooper you've got there! Yay! Yay! I remember the first day picking mine up, it was so fun! The smile hasn't faded, even two years later!

I'm glad to see another South Bay '06 MINI. Mine is due in to SB in another couple weeks. I haven't talked to Freddie, but Jennifer has been awesome.

Congrats! Nice car. I love the look of a Cooper!

Not a big change, but I think it would be great if you replaced the lens covers on the side turrn signals and the reflector in front of the wheel, with clear ones to get rid of the distracting orange. (put in amber bulbs). We did this on my car and I like it a lot.

Wow, rg/s is a beautiful combo. Wowowowowow I like it. And the chrome grill - I'm not a chrome fan at all, but wow, it looks nice. Great choice with the 16 in wheels. That might be the nicest cooper I've seen.

Nice Color combo

You are going to love that car. Don't baby it, but follow the recommended break in period.

How about some window tints...Charcoal Gray 20% on the rears and 35% on the doors would look great on your Royal Grey/Silver Cooper

VERY Nice!

No red tinge as with the configurator. Was my 2nd Choice.

Thanks for all the comments! Jimbo, yes I am looking to get it tinted. I just need to find a good tint shop. Freddie said this guy George comes out to do their tints so I might get it done from him. Torrance is a little out of the way though, so I will look for a shop around the San Gabriel/Monterey Park area. I definitely won't baby it too much, just keeping it under 70 is hard to do. I'll try to post some more pics tomarrow!

Absolutely great looking color! My PW/B MC is currently on order with South Bay and just seeing yours gets me all giddy. Were you able to get any freebies from them like mats?

Very nice looking Mini. We had toyed around with the idea of grey with chrome too but settled on the blue.

Enjoy!

If you're looking for classy, you can't beat RG/S. I saw it for the first time the other day. Pics just don't do it service. Very beautiful color...

Congrats
