Royal Grey looks so sophisticated (probably too sophisticated for my taste), I think it is a perfect candidate for having the black trim painted to match.

Continuing with that theme, I agree with getting clear or smoked lenses for your side marker lights, and I'd go a step further and get chrome replacements for the side vents. The black plastic clashes with the classy paint.

Not a big change, but I think it would be great if you replaced the lens covers on the side turrn signals and the reflector in front of the wheel, with clear ones to get rid of the distracting orange. (put in amber bulbs). We did this on my car and I like it a lot.
I agree with the people eater on this one. We changed our side marker lights to a white cover with amber bulb and the silver "shark grill" slots and the difference was amazing. We got a huge effect out of a $50 mod.

Thanks.

Have you considered also changing the reflector in front of the wheel? It looked really bad with the purple on my car. See before and after.

PurplePeoplEater,
It does look a lot better with those 2 slight changes. Do you know where I would be able to buy the white side markers and reflector?

Thanks. YuccaPatrol (hubby) did the purchasing and install for me  . I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction (even though I know ebay was involved at some point), so feel free to send him a PM. He is the friendly sort. He also changed another set of light bulbs in the front (not the lens) to eliminate more orange. He can tell you about that too.

That's a good looking Cooper. The silver roof just works. Congrats.
