Hi guys, I am thinking about painting the stock fenders and side skirts along with the black edge on the bumpers body colored (liquid yellow)

so i was wondering if someone can post some pictures of cars that have that done cuz I wanna see if it looks nice! thank you much!

 

I have seen pics some where but cant remember where. I am thinking about doing the same thing or painting the trim a gloss black. Hope someone gets back to you on this.

First one is probably the most accurate representation of LY.

 

Ok that is it. If I ever get the money I am color coding Bumble. That looks good to me.

also just wondering is the 05 cooper bumper a straight swap on a 02 cooper (both non S)? What about the foglight mounts on the 2 bumpers? same mount? thanks guys!

 

Boy, that really works wonders on a yellow Mini

 

1. right-click on the full-size image in your gallery

2. choose "Copy image location" (actual wording will vary depending on your browser, I'm using Opera)

3. start a new message in the thread, click paste to see the URL of the image.

4. in front of the address, add: [img] (including the brackets)

5. at the end of the address, add: [/img] (including the brackets)

6. Preview Post to see the magic, then submit reply.

Any one know how much it is to get the trim color coded? Or how much would it be to replace the trim all around? I could send the trim to my mom and have her paint it but dont want to drive around with out the trim and cant take time off work to drive down there (about 24 hours each way).

 

Brecht MINI charges $1500 for painted trim if you order your MINI that way. I don't know how much it would cost to have it done after the fact, though.
