So, I'm driving in a parking lot and bump my MINI's 15" holey wheel into a curb. I get out, and my sister walks up to it and says it's scratched, I take a look, yep, it's scratched. I scream or do something, can't quite remember. Then I wake up!

I think this is the only MINI nightmare I've had yet, and probably the only MINI dream I've had as well. Anyone else have any good/bad dreams with MINIs?

Mine wasn't a dream, I actually hit a curb when I, er, "clipped the apex" going around a corner after work. I was going about 25 mph and I think I went over the curb - it was hard to tell. Didn't mess up my alignment or anything, but it freaked me out a little bit. I wasn't driving especially fast or doing anything different from any other day (other than apparently turning in too much).

My most common car nightmare is to not be able to stop. I press on the brake pedal as hard as I can, and the car just keeps going. Never happened in real-life, though (knock on wood!).

 

I actually had a MINI nightmare recently...although only another owner would get it. If I recall correctly I was riding a train to a park-and-ride in North Dallas (an irrelevant detail probably revealing my utter loathing for the place). I got to Park Lane Station and my MINI was parked in a sea of "compact car only" spaces...I recall feeling the dread terror of a potential door-ding. In addition, it had rained, then dried, leaving my MINI covered w/ nasty muddy spots...clearly a frightening prospect given my awesome IB paint job. Well, that's it....see I told you only another owner would get it.

 

Once I dreamt that I was making the car payment instead of the wife making it!

 

Last night I dreamed that my loving wife had suprized me by trading my beloved Mini for a Nissan Z convertable. It was small and cramped. I was so happy to see my Mini in driveway when I awoke.

Dreamin g about a car, a wee bit sick, but there you have it.
