iPod adapter and glove box organizer?

Well, my MINI is on order and it's time to start stockpiling the goodies. I have a list going and will post later for opinions from anyone who cares to comment.
I have ordered the Ipod adapter from MINI and was wondering if I could use the Glove box organizer or will the adapter interfere with the fit?
The one I want is from outmotoring.com.

Thanks,
Annette

I have the glove box organizer and all I know is that it is a MUST have!! Just tell the dealer that you are getting the organizer and you need the adapter installed so the organizer will fit. I am sure you would not be the first one to do this.

Have fun stockpiling the goodies while you wait. It helps ease the anticipation just a little. :impatient

The Ipod adapter fits fine with the glovebox organizer. They just drill a hole in the side of the glovebox to run the wire through. The GBO gives a perfect spot for the ipod to stay.

Congrats on the new purchase!

Prior to getting my MINI, I had a car cover, auto-up module, and euro shelf!

We've both the GBO and aux input jack... here's a pic... they fit fine.

I did add a 90 degree adaptor to help fit nicer

I have the aux input mounted in the

side shelf that replaces the stock knee bolster - of course that means I had to install both myself - took prob 45 min total on both. But having my mp3 player rest on that shelf is much more convenient, imo.

Wow, thanks for the pic. I need that 90 degree adapter. BTW, I have the iPod thingy and the shelf, no problems.

Thanks!

Well I've been out all day at my son's high school County Cross Country meet (We brought home the big 1st place trophy by the way ). I couldn't wait to get in and check out the opinions I knew I'd get on the post I made on my way out the door.
Anyway, thanks so much for the great replies and pics. I was having trouble visualizing the adapter and the GBO so now I know what to expect.
There was a really cute PW Cooper there in the parking lot, I waited near it for awhile to see if the driver would show up, but never did see anyone so I just enjoyed looking at it.
Thanks again fellow obsessors!
Annette
