I bet that comes as a shock to the new editor, Helena. But the magazine was mediocre at best.

I agree the magazine went down hill

I was given a year subscription last Christmas when the mag was bi-monthly. Shortly after it went monthly and wasn't worth reading. They had nothing new to say. Got the subscription renewal and they wanted 120 pounds which I think is over $200 dollars to renew for a year. Yikes. I read alot of car mags and could probably subscribe to four of them at that price.
Always pick up one if there is a MINI story.

I agree, the mag went downhill (to me anyway) when it went monthly, but prior to that I enjoyed it quite a lot. Perhaps they overstretched. I have the first 9 issues which, I suppose, I'll cherish all the more now.

Can't say that it's a big loss

Those folks were 100% lost (IMO) when it came to innovation, interesting copy and pics, editorials, just about anything. A good idea, poorly executed. Too bad.

the articles were ok, but the rampant misplacement of pictures really annoyed me!

a few issues had pictures from other cars in different artcles!

IE a Cordoba Beige interior in a cooper that had black leatherette in one picture.....go figure

$10.00 plus tax for each issue.........serious problem there.

My recent subscription to Road and Track cost me $12.00 for 24 issues. That's 50 cents a month mailed to my door.

Even if GoMINI had been a great mag, 10 bucks a copy is ridiculous.

I renewed my subscription but never received it. All this time sending me renewal letters. They wouldn't answer my e-mails or first two letters. So I canceled.

I guess I won't get my money back. They owed me an $82 refund and what they sent was $3.67. The bank wouldn't tell me the exchange rate at the time of deposit. Said they had to send it to find out. I just assumed it would be close to the amount. Finally I receive a letter and they charged me $10 to cash it.

Yes, I learned a lesson!
