Just been noticing the drop in temperatures and humidity in my area. Yesterday, a cold front moved through and some leaves began to fall.

Took this pic to remind me what a great summer it's been.

 

Most of the leaves have already changed and drop here.

Fall is far and away my favorite season. Can't wait to do some backpacking! I've got a long Columbus Day weekend trip planned with a few friends, but no destination yet.

My sister moved to Burlington, Vermont in June after five years in Arizona, and she's very excited to see fall again. I was up there this past weekend, and she was getting really psyched for the leaves blowing around and the cooler temps and wearing sweaters and so forth.

 

Still hot as heck here in Miami and rainy. The summer pattern will stay with us for longer it seems

 

I agree, fall is the best. It's gorgeous here in Utah right now. Sadly, my favorite season also seems to be the shortest: that narrow window between too hot and too cold...

 

Love to motor in the fall.....the Fall of the Dragon is the best! To see all the colors changing is a HUGE thrill for this Cali gal!

But right now, we here in SoCal are all very concerned about our friends in the way of the wildfires that are burning out of control. It's extremely scary and dangerous!
