I'm looking for some moral support. My new baby (BRG/W MCS) was born on 1/24 and has been a 193 on the dock since (this is 1/29). I know a lot of its brothers and sisters sailed on the Tosca over last weekend. I was wondering if it has some company at the Southhampton dock or if it got left all by its lonesome there? Help! If anyone knows anything or is in the same predicament, let me know! :???:

My MINI sat in England from 12/6 until 01/02 while others came and left on ships.....hope you do not have the same experience.

Oh Man! 1 day from docking! I'll bet it's getting hard to concentrate on other things right about now. I hope I don't have to wait that long either. Ever find out why others left the dock and yours just sat there all that time?

Hi,

Sorry you are sitting in torment. I feeeeel your pain.

I learned today that my baby arrives in port (barring tsunamis and wars) on 1/31 and won't arrive at my dealer for 10-14 days. I can only assume that there is quite a lot of paperwork when a load like that comes in. I think this is why they say "6-8 weeks after build date".

Hang in there. When he or she arrives, you'll forget about the pain. Just like giving birth.

gocart29,

Welcome to the CWFFC. Missed you under the 1/24ers. Have you placed your last seven digits (TDxxxxx) into the W&W cargo tracking website to determine what ship you might be booked on as this appears to be determined 3-5 days before departure?

Ditto to SMKKVK's remarks -- check the WW cargo tracking site; I'll bet you too are on the FALSTAFF which leaves Southampton tomorrow. Let us all know. My sparkling BVLGARI was also born on 1/24.

I am in "awaiting transport" as well.

I checked with the shipping company and I mini is "booked" and "received at terminal."

The ship leaves tomorrow I think. Let's hope you and I are on it.

Hey Gocart
Hang in there. My BRG/W Cooper was born on December 3 and got on a ship on the 20th with the boat departing the 21st. It is a tough wait, but... oh so worth it

Hallelujah!!! Thanks SMKKVK and Sparkles! I have been using the WW tracking website, but, I had been putting in the whole VIN, not just the last seven digits. My baby sails from Southhampton tomorrow on the Faust (not the Falstaff). I had been following several of you on the Falstaff, this is first I've seen of the Faust. Anyway, I guess I should have been doing more than just lurking here on MCO (and Mini2). I would have lived through a little less torment. I request late entry into the CWFFC!

DoNDoN,

Well to the CWFFC. I've added you to our list. Keep us informed on the "Can't Wait for February Club" thread as to your progress, i.e. ship name with departure/arrival,... Best Wishes as you voyage across the Atlantic to the VPC

GoCart29 --- Of course, you should jump in now to the fabulous February Club, so kindly organized by SMKKVK. Glad to help with the 7 last digits/letters of VIN clue.

DoNDoN -- Join now, too. Report your progress daily. See you on the "Can't Wait '
Til February" Club site. Ciao.
