R50/53 Here she is! Pics of my Cooper S
Blake,
Mr. Tiny has such a soulful expression in the "Noodge" piccie! He's so lucky to have a daddy with a pretty new S that lets him sit on his lap for 1700 miles! What a guy!
Cheers!

I live in Santa Barbara, about 90 miles north of LA. I wish the drive was on any date other than this weekend but unforntunatly I am tied up all weekend long. (arggg) But i do want to be apart of an outing here in socal, just keep me posted on when you are thinking of one. There are tons of unbelievable roads in Santa Barbara, and the San Ynez valley if anyone is interested.

As for the break-in and varied speed, I actually obeyed all the rules, so after a few minutes I would shift down to 5th great, let it wind down some more then to 4th and then excellerating back to 6th gear. And yes, it gets very old when you are doing it for 8hrs a day.
Koolmini- as for the system, randy at mini motorsports has dyno'd the system and was getting consistently between 12-14hp at the wheels. I don't doubt it, it's a must for any MCS owner who is serious about performance. As for the sound, it is awesome, but I will say, this is no sleeper system, so you won't be going around stealth mode. It is not obnoxious but just know that it does have a bite to it. It doesn't sound ricey, but at the same time it is not like those big pickups with dual exhaust. My one small complaint/wish was that at highway speeds it was just a bit quieter. When you are rolling at 80mph is fine until say the cruise control was to continually apply small amounts of throttle when you are in 6th. Nothing to bad, I don't mind it, but If you had to cart around a bunch of non mini enthusiast for a long trip it might bother them a bit. It's just that sometimes our signifcant others don't have the same appreciation towards a sweet exhaust note. It's not as bad as I make it sound, I just want to give everyone a heads up that it is not a ultra quiet system. But who's to say that a mean sounding exhaust is bad?
Enjoy
