OMG...First people don't know what sex their MINI is and now this

 

After listening to an interview with the head of the FEMA 9th zone today, I have added ammunition - among a few other weapons - to my earthquake kit. Talk about a clueless bureaucrat. The interviewer asked over and over why the people don’t have water after five days- how hard is it to drop a few cases of water from a helicopter? She couldn’t answer - “well, that’s not my job and I‘m not sure exactly who handles that,” or “that is another department,” or “I wouldn’t anticipate that type of situation.” I couldn’t believe it.

 

So what have FEMA and Homeland Security been doing with all our tax dollars the past 5 years? I don't expect the gravy-trainers to help us....ever. Besides, the beltway folks seem to think that Cali is a foreign country.

Miniclo, funny that was my thought too! Seems like we'll need to add ammo to our hurricane kits here in FL now! Fortunately, it was a very small group of criminals and likely they were criminals before the storm. Most all the refugees were well behaved in spite of the horrible lack of support they received. I can't imagine being in such a predicament or how I'd respond to such inept bungling if my family's welfare were on the line.

I can't fathom what has been done to FEMA in the past couple years to cause such a wholly incompetent response to Katrina. Heads ought to roll! And you know where Truman said the buck ought to stop!

 

The mayor of New Orleans said that the people shooting and terrorizing everyone were basically made up of a group of jonesing drug addicts who had stolen firearms and then had gone to the hospitals to steal drugs because they were in withdrawal, and were wreaking havoc on the other folks at the convention center and the Super Dome. It's hard to determine just how many people were involved in the mayhem because the media decided to focus on that, to the detriment of covering the other hurricane victims' stories.

Sure you are....why not? After all they are both of the same genus, but have completely different sets of special "issues". One is more complex...one is a little rough around the edges. You clearly find both highly attractive. For better or worse, I suppose I'm with you on this one.

 

I think you need to spell it Bi-MIniual. That way you have the spellin of both minis. MINI and mini.
