I'm jumping for joy, and have a grin on my face spanning the atlantic ocean! I just got the call from my dealer, Herb Chambers BMW 2 minutes ago! Now I have to wait to have my custom plates done because Mass. doesn't allow them! Only a few more days now! I can't wait!

(I just needed to get it out!!!!!!!!)

Congrats!!! Mine was supposed to be offloaded yesterday but the shipping site doesn't reflect that. Then a week or so until I get to share your excitement.

Congrats! I am less than 2 weeks from taking delivery of my Electric Blue S! I am ready to put a fresh coat of Zaino on as soon as I get it. My wife is even getting excited about this car too. Until now, she has been just tolerating me.

Congrats, I know you are excited. My car got in last month and I was out of town for a few days before I could pick it up. I was the first on in the door the morning that I got to take the new prize home. Be ready for stairs and glairs when you drive it home.

I dunno.. I think this wait would be worse! (minus the nausea, gaining weight, .. )

Ok maybe its not worse!

Well, something new just came up... I guess it's not so much Herb Chambers' fault, as it it Hrache's... I guess I have to end up paying $1,700 extra for my mini. I guess the installed a low jack, (Gps tracking device), the "autobon?" (question on spelling), floor mats, and there is some kind of documentation fee, which i was never told of. Also when I ordered my car through Hrach, he neglected to inform me about these aditions, as he had done to nearly everyone else! (thats why he's a Peabody now). So, the total on my mini comes to 24,220... That's not including $1300 tax which i have to pay here, $15 for custom plates, and INSURANCE, $700 per year! My ohh my, where did my "cheap beamer" go?

Should you have to pay for it, if its a mistake of theirs? Do you have to write up papers?? They shouldn't have installed anything without informing you....

Well, TBD (to be DISCUSSED) is written on the contract... The whole problem is that it was never discussed! I have two choices... Pay the extra $2000, or wait for them to order me a new car!

Walk away, you know you have the ability to get one somewhere else and explain that to them, yes you may have to wait but at least you will get a fair deal.

Yes.. However, if you reorder, and you have to get on the wait list again, it is possible that you will have to get a 2003, and the price of the MINI will most likely be going up 5-15%.. So you might be paying the same, but without the options..
