Ouch! That must have hurt.

A very smashed up MINI for sale on eBay. Anyone on here the previous owner? Wonder what happened. Door is so smashed in. Strange that the passenger side of the windshield is smashed, yet the airbag appears to have deployed. Guess whatever mashed the bumper could have hit the windshield. I have been wanting an 05 but it seems like a lot of damage for them to be asking $10,000 buy it now. 5 bids already though and up to $5,655.

Wow, i wonder what kind of crash caused that damage.... looks like they hit something head on, and then somehow spun out and crashed into a tree or guard rail, or something....

Anyways, the car doesnt look all the bashed up... could definitly salvage the engine and most of body...

Ya, I wonder what happened too. It's hard to tell which came first, because it really could have been either one... But more than that, I'm curious if either of those cases are true, why is there impact damage on the passenger side windshield? Almost like something tall was hit and not only hit the front but the windshield as well... Like a person or animal?

I like how the drivers side is caved in from the outside, but it looks like just a missing window from the inside pics, the door panel is fine.

At the bottom, he says the engine and electronics still work.
Impressive that for the big crunch the driver's side door took on the outside, the inside of the door doesn't really show it. Speaker looks pushed in but it's not, like, in the driver's lap.

I wonder ...

.....how much it would cost to put that car back on the road. You figure it needs airbags, hood, doors, bumper, windshield, motor mount, paint - anyone a body guy here? I'm estimating at LEAST $12,000 to get it back on the road looking like normal.

That cracking of the windshield is caused by the airbag inflation. I would guess this car has a bunch of damage that is unseen.

notice the drivers seat is pushed over...keyword in both ads--salvage condition. unless for parts only, i'd never buy a salvage titled car.
