R50/53 Visor stickers on 05 MCS
I used nail polish remover on my '02. It's the acetone in the polish remover that did it. You need to soak a paper towel, and hold it over a part of the label, and it will rub off. Took a LONG time, and haven't done it to the '05 yet.

I don't think the stickers are any different on an 05 than they were on an 02, but I could be wrong.

did it last night. used denatured alcohol and a paper towel to saturate
the sticker, then rubbed it off.
followed up w/ acetone to get rid of the residue.
(denatured alcohol seemed to work better for the mass removal process.
acetone turned the big sticker in lots of very small pieces which semiground into the visor.)

I just removed all the stickers in my 2006 Cabrio (including the sticker warning folks to keep clear of the moving top) with my wife's acetone and cotton *****. The dash sticker and the conv. top headliner sticker came off cleanly with no residue - the two visor stickers were the "rubberized spray on" type and took a while with an acetone rub to eventually roll off. On the second sticker, I noticed it worked much better when the cotton ball was loaded with acetone to the point of almost dripping - this way once the sticker had been soaked a while it came off in seconds.
The visor stickers left small shiny spots where they used to be. I tried to remove any residue with Goo Gone to no avail. Hoping that time takes away the shine - but even the shine is SOOOO much better than the "nuclear waste hazard yellow" that was there before.....
