Fun! I was expecting it to take longer for them to update the site!

How odd...you can't get Purple Haze with a black roof/mirrors anymore. Only white and body color. Glad I got mine when I did.

Sweet!

Although as I'm sitting here building [yet another] MCS and since Jet Black is gone ( ) I'm looking at alternatives... ...and I may have found the most hideous interior combo yet! Build a car with Cordoba Biege Leather and CR interior panels.

NO LIQUID YELLOW?!?!?!

Well, I configured my MINI and it's $38,000 without dealer installation charges that will probably go to $41K. Yikes. Elise, looks like you're my next baby!

I'm not digging how they are getting rid of all of the fun colors! If you look at the color spectrum now, it looks more like your typical car colors. Argh.

Thanks for the info. Kind of cool to be able to choose the JCW parts.

Personally, I think paying over $30,000 for a mini is rediculous, at that point there are much better alternatives. When I was at Downtown getting my pulley installed, there was also a guy waiting while his JCW parts were being installed on his new MCSC. He had pretty much every option possible - it was $42k out the door - and I think he was absolutely nutz.

Is it me or you can't get the regular bonnet stripes on the Cooper.

The choice of color on the site for MCS looks very dull. The only color 'Bright' color left is the red. Usually, I can easily identify a Mini from a distance when it is a CR, LY or EB.

You're welcome everyone!

Is it possible to add black stripes with the Checkmate package? It seems like it should be possible looking at the pop-up that displays when I add the Checkmate package (the black stripes option is always disabled), and based on option details I read at Edmunds.com. But I haven't been able to do it! Tried playing around with body color roof/mirrors, silver roof/mirrors, but no luck.

Wow, it sure is easy to crank the price up with options. Although, I must say that the English Leather/Piano Gloss Dash combo would be amazing!

To each their own. Frankly, my MINI and my Wife's are both over $30K, and I dont even think twice about the value to the $$$

The automatic now has "Agitronic" paddle shifters...weren't they previously called Steptronic paddles or something?
