Public Apology
Well, others have done this and I guess it's my turn now.
I want to say I'm sorry if I have ever offended anyone. Today there was a miscommunication between me and another member and that's all it was. It still bothers me though cause I love all things MINI and the fact that a car has be come a culture is very special to me.
Some of us have met and some not. I know some of you better than others. In the end though sometimes it's hard to just read a post and know how to take it. Sometimes this ends being taken wrong.
So if I have ever reacted wrong or posted something that came off wrong. I'm sorry.
HUGS FOR EVERYONE!!
Chris

I guess I wasn't there but I have had to do this myself, I always get new perspective.
I think that for me, my passion runs high with the Mini so that from time to time I am not the best version of myself.
the fact that you have done this means there is a pretty good version of you in control right now.

I also completely understand you feelings about this MINI "culture" that we are all in. I see it as a community of some of the kindest, most enthusiastic, and most accepting people out there and that is one reason why I want a MINI so badly. I would feel so bad if I couldn't stay in this community because of some stupid words. When Maxamini passed I was only vaguely familiar with some of his posts, but after learning about him it just reasserted how embracing and great the people in the MINI community can be. I grew up in a classic car community (Tri-Chevy...for those who don't know it is a group who are mainly about the 55-56-57 chevys...but would accept new members who did not have one of those). Since that was my father's group I rebelled, as I think most children do to try to establish themselves seperate from their parents (no actual data to support...just a gut feeling). Well, now after a long time I find what was so enjoyable to him in the MINI community. People, ALL of you, you are .

I think Aristotle put it best when he said:
Every one of us will offend people from time to time, just as every one of us will be offended by others. Our merit of character can be seen in how we react to such situations.
In order to live a life without offending anyone, one must say nothing, do nothing, and be nothing.
