Something happened today that made my day. After picking up my old 99 VW GTi from the shop (again, what a piece of **** IMO but thats another story) I decided to swing by Patrick MINI/BMW and see if I could get a sneak peak at my new MINI. (This grueling wait is almost over, I have 6.5 hours till i can pick up my new MINI!!) So I get to the dealer and sneak out back and there she is, dirty, but there. I LOVE IT! I ordered a Jet Black MCS with the Aero kit, Harmon Kardon, performance and sport packages alarm yada yada yada. And to my surprise THE KEYS WERE IN IT! So I give a quick look to see if anybody was around and I jumped inside. I love that brand new car smell! I turned on the car to hear the HK soundsystem and wow! Amazing, the bass hits so hard and is so clean, I was impressed. Ive heard my friends 04 HK system and I think my sounds better. Wierd? Then I couldnt take it, I started it up and took a spin...ok I lied. I didn't take a spin but I did start it up to hear that engine! It was super fun and Im glad I got to see it. I can't wait, obviously I couldn't sleep so I decided to tell everyone what happened. Ill post about my delivery experiance after I pick up Mr. NASTY. And don't worry I'll include pics... Time for some sleep...

I got a sneak peak too before taking delivery. My MA called me in the morning on a Monday to tell me that my car was off the truck. But at the time I was still waiting for an answer on my financing. Then later in the afternoon, I was approved. As soon as I was approved, I called my MA and told him I was approved for such and such. Then he told me to hold and b/c he may be able to beat it. After a few minutes on the phone, I got a rate lower than what I was originally approved for . Then I asked him if I can stop by to check the car out. He said of course so I rushed over with my insurance info. When I got there my car was understanably dirty but he was kind enough and parked it in the service area indoors. Then on delivery day, my car was all prepped and it was covered with the zippered cover. Then my my MA did the whole song and dance and even took pictures.

 

Wow thats great service. My MA (Chuck Amenta) also did a great job. What dealer was that?
