My son, Sean, just picked up his Dark Metallic Silver 'S' last night!! He's been saving up for a year, and it came in in 2-1/2 months!! We got to Long Beach MINI around 7:30 PM, and got out about 10:00 o'clock. He ordered it with everything except leather and the self-dimming mirror; all the packages - 1, 2, 3, Harmon Kardon, Nav set-up, even the parking distance thingy. His is the first MINI at Long Beach with the Harmon Kardon, and I gotta say it's awesome! He lucked out and got the NEW pedals and the new multifuntion steering wheel, as well. It's a blast to drive, as expected, and the color is cool. Pics soon, I hope!

My dealer told me that they have noticed the New Pedals only on cars equipped with the HK system.

They found it a little odd, but that's been there observation to date.

My mini is due next week, and sounds like yours..BRG/W Cooper (5 speed though) with Corboba leather. I too will have the HK Stereo.

Interesting note about the new pedals coming only with the HK. I'm picking mine up on Monday and I ordered the HK, so I'll be expecting the new, cool pedals for sure!

 

Love the leather! The seats have a lumbar adjustment, and are great! Have fun with your BRG!!!

Congratulations on the 2 MINIs! Our daughter already is telling us she wants one. She's got a while to save up for hers (10 years)!!

 

COngrats! The steering wheel looks the same though. What's this about new pedals? I couldn't really tell from the picture - I guess I'm not sure what mine look like! The harmon Kardon speakers look great. I originally had them on my Sept build S but when it was delayed until December, I just could not wait. I had to have my MINI! No regrets here - the past 3 1/2 months have been the best in my life!

 

Van, any chance of possibly adopting me? I promise to clean my room (and my wife won't make a peep).
