When approaching another MINI travelling in the opposite direction, pull towards you, on the stick, on the left-side of the steering wheel and flash your brother. If your lights are off, this will momentarily flash them on and if your lights are on, it will flash your high beams.

This shall become the universal hail for MINI drivers.

I usually flash or if its daylight a nice wave works

 

I always flash oncoming MINI's.

I occasionally wave if i realize i don't have enough time to flash them, though.

This is for those who don't already do it. Some people look at me and wonder why I flashed them.

 

Since I've got my MINI I am surprised how many MINI's I've seen around Charlotte that do not want to nod or wave or even acknowledge they see another MINI.

?? maybe these folks are in a another world but it has happened no less than 10 times that I make eye contact with another MINI driver, I've tried waving, nodding, light flashing, whatever... I get no response.

Next time I may try mooning!

(I get more waves from Non-MINI drivers)

 

I guess to some people the MINI is just a car. Hard to believe, though. :smile:

I flash my fogs, but sometimes when I'm in the mood, or if my windows are down. I'll give them a big thumbs up..
