Horray!!!! Finally at scheduled for production..
So I called MINI and since I noticed today it finally changed to scheduled for production.
They said it had started on June 29th and should be done by July 8th. At that point its off to the shipyards to hitch a ride over.. Looks like I'll be getting SLM sooner than I thought..

I just checked the owners lounge and mine changed from on order to scheduled for production sometime this week. Though it doesn't give me a date for production. Is that normal? I read the FAQ and it stated in there that I should have a date. I have a VIN, but that seems to be it....
I was also told I would have the car early to mid august. The way things are going, I might have it by the end of july if it all works out...what do you all think??

.I was told through the automated message that Abby will be finished on July 5th. Later spoke to a rep and she said production will commence on June 29 and she confirmed the July 5th completion date. She said if everything goes smoothly, Abby should get to the dealership by the end of the month

Mine started June 29th and should be rolling out July 8th at which point it head over to the boats. I was told that from July 8th (aka when you car is born) it usually takes about another 4 weeks to reach the dealership assuming everything goes well. i.e. boat doesnt break down mid pond.
