Also i doubt there is too much extra bracing if any at all in pano roof cars because of the split in the pano roof near the rear is probably the standard bracing the car comes with.

Would be interesting to see the headliner pulled from both non pano and pano roof cars to see the difference.
There is more material with a sunroof, as confirmed by those who claim to have skipped it because they're too tall.

mikem53 - What cars are coming with unpainted roofs? Are you just talking race cars, or normal production cars?

I am talking about dedicated race cars. I was in a racing class where one of the instructors was pointing out that fact. He told us to imagine racing on a roadcourse with a gallon can of paint attached to the roof. It does make a difference.
I also owned a Z06 which is a FRC (fixed roof coupe). It is the fastest most performance oriented vette built, basically a factory turn key race car. There is no option for a removable roof as on other vettes. This keeps the weight down and the rigidity up.
Most mini's will never experience or function as a full race car. But for those that want every bit of performance and weight loss, a sunroof is not an option.

Luis' car has LSD, 17" R90s and the "heavier" Chrono Pack I think the solid Chili Red roof adds weight .

Try Luis first, if not let me now. Me no have LSD (Or heavy Antharcite headliners ) and still riding 16" V-spokes.

Are you coming up tonight?
