If you can get a prepainted Aero Kit, they have properly masked off the wheel arches so they blend in with the rest of the car. This is just a case of somebody gave the body shop the pieces and said paint them. They didn't think or care to keep the wheel arches black. Icky
What is the deal with the incomplete Aero Kit painting...either they were careless when painting or stupidly ignored the wheel arches...what gives
Plus they look terrible
Unfortunately, the firewall out here has e-bay blocked, so I can only imagine, but several of the aero kits I've seen in Denver were not painted all that well - finish was okay, color match was hideous - I saw not one, but two liquid yellows that the aero kits were at least two shades off. . .
Some people out there actually prefer to leave the flares black but most of them have them painted also and/or have the areo pieces masked and painted black so the lines flow down unto the bumper covers.
I agree, they look horrible...it wouldn't take that much time or money for that matter to have the flares painted to match, and would look ten times better.
