Spoiler Separating from Roof!

I have a January Build '05 MCS. My husband and I were looking at the roof today for some reason and we noticed that it looks like the spoiler is separating from the roof. Where the spoiler attaches to the roof part of the boot, it looks the top coat is pulling away from the paint, and its doing this on both sides. I know it's a bad description, but it's kinda hard to describe. I know that I can get it fixed under warranty, but I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem

Boo, Hey, how fast do you folks drive? Ah just kiddin. Looks like you folks will be paying a visit to your dealer. I have never heard of that problem before.

Good luck, and be sure and post what you find out from your dealer

Never heard of such a thing, but it could be a blessing - I wanted to get a "stealth" MCS by ordering it without the spoiler, badging and S side markers and they told me I couldn't! Maybe if I drive as fast as you, my spoiler will just fly off.

Let us know what the dealer says so all us MCS drivers can put "keep back 300 feet, not responsible for broken windshields" stickers on our boots before we lose our wings.

My '05 had the same problem. It looked exactly like yours. Rest assure it is not the clear coat peeling up. After a little clear coat safe polish and a quick re-wax the spot was once again black.

Well, I took it to my dealer and they said that it looks like when they glued the spoiler onto the boot hatch they used too much and it somehow seeped into the clearcoat I tried to use a polish at home and they tried a cleaner but couldn't get it off, so they are going to repaint that small section of roof. They gave me a loaner car. Hopefullu I'll get my Bruno back relatively soon

I know she doesn't drive that fast, and I swear, I have never broken 120 in it!
