I've been checking mine on MINI USA and it says still on order...

But I just heard from Julie and I have a completion date of 05/06/05! Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

I'm so excited!

 

Tomorrow will be 10 days with no production date. I've got a number, but not a date. I'm not even going back to miniusa - I've been calling askmini for details.

I'm sad. :(

 

Tick tock tick tock....we are still waiting.....

 

Can you call your MA to get the status?

It's gonna be a long 4 weeks!

 

I ordered and got my prodcution number on 4/13. The Owner's Lounge still says "On Order", but ASKMINI says "scheduled for produciton, with no confirmed production date yet". The OL and ASKMINI have been reporting the same things for more than a week.

I did order with H/K.

Originally, I was told "late May," then I was told "late May/early June", then I was told "June 6-15". WTF.

I just can't wait.

I know all about that, but my MA told me I wasn't affected.

 

I have a production number, but still no date. Going on 2 wks since I ordered "Miles" (For Miles O'Brien, one of my late ferrets).

And I ordered the HK. I guess I'll call my MA over the weekend!

 

Nugget was ordered 4/11 and I got his production number the next day. After a week I was given a late May production date, but after the HK fire that was moved up to May 4th. I was told several MINIs with the HK kit were pulled aside and several (like me) who went with the stock sounds were bumped up. Pete

I got my 'production complete' # a few days ago...his birthday will be 05/06/05.

So just for the hell of it I called ASK MINI today to see if there were any updates...my production complete date is 05/06...and now it says my vehicle is being released to a carrier and awaiting transportation to the port of exit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll chime in. I placed my order last Saturday here in Westchester, NY. My MA told me it was a slot for production around the third week of May with a June delivery.

Welcome to the madness! The Owners Lounge tends to run a little behind. I'd call ASK MINI or get in touch with your MA for any info. ( I still check the OL too...just incase! )

A bit of progress!!! My MINI has been received at the shipping terminal!

Only thing I don't get is the port of destination is Charleston, SC...I would have thought NY being that I bought from Classic in Ohio.

 

Oh and the ship is the Takasago.

Just Wednesday I got my VIN and got an "In Production" status. My estimated completion date is May 13th. That just happens to be Friday the 13. Hmm, this might not be good.

Well, next week is my birthday..that would be a nice b-day present, no?
