Ok, I just rolled over 20,000 miles today. I think my Mini will be a test to the vehicle's endurance, I'll keep you posted. Only problems to date, boot rattled (fixed by dealer) and windshield cracked during ice storm (scheduled to be fixed). Otherwise, runs like a top.

Great to hear. I'd like to know what tires you have and if you're making them last or roasting them.

Ok folks...damn the re-sale value...30,000 miles last week..and since you asked the Pirelli performance run-flats are GONE...at most of their tread is...bordering on dangerous on wet roads....And I have been fairly kind to them, mostly highway miles.

25,500 + miles and still smiling. Sunroof rattle still with me after (2) different dealers have tried to fix it. Coolant bottle replaced and cold start problem taken care of during first service. No other problems! Had Pirelli run flats rotated at last service but I don't think they'll last too much longer.

we're at 7K -- but we've only had ours 6 months. everything seems ok so far. had the software update for the CVT and the NAV system and that sorted the main probs we had.

no mechanical problems except the recall for the bad bolts on the rear suspension.

curt and jaime

So it looks like 25-30K is reaching the limit for the Pirelli run-flats.

I got the GoodYear run-flats... was told they might last a little longer, but wouldn't have quite the grip of the Pirelli's.

Anyone have any experience with the longevity of the GoodYear's? How about costs? What has replacement set you back?

Also, anyone care to chime in on handling vs. cost vs. milage comparisons between the two makes of tire??

I've been on runflats for 11,800 miles. Smooth sailing! (I will be getting new tires with my new wheels though.)

Hmmm.. I thought this was going to be about Gas Mileage. But since you asked - I'm coming up on 360 days tomorrow, about 12K miles and no real problems to speak of. The boot rattles, just like everyone else. The run-flats are heavy but still have lots of life. The power curve is improved by the K&N intake, will be improved still more with new exhaust. It's a solid, simple, responsive little car all around.

Of course, I'm on a roadtrip...

I have the 16-inch Dunlap all-seasons and they've been GREAT! Really grippy in the rain and nice and smooth over the highways and byways! Tee hee!

Cheers!

Have 11,500 mile since pick up on 10/10/02. Have the Goodyears's and when I rotated @ 10K, they said about 20/25% of tread was used...
