Now who's laughing?

Gas is at $2.10 in Denver...for regular.

When I got my MINI people I work with were more than a little scornful of the Toy Car.

They...who drive older Giant SUV's...are now crying the blues.

Ha....Ha.....Ha.....

I saw a report earlier today that premium (self serve) is going for $3.15 at a 76 station in Malibu.

Certainly not me. There's nothing funny about it.

WOW! The best price I've seen for premium here in L.A. was $2.55 at a Chevron nearby on Centinela & Palms in Mar Vista.

The exchange goes the other way. $1 U.S. is currently worth $1.20 CDN

So $3.75 CDN would be a little over $3 US.

Exactly! Been to GB twice and paid about equivalent $5.00 each time. They've been paying these high prices for a long time!

It was $2.35 a gallon for premium in St Louis today. Better watch out, it's heading for Indiana

Well, considering that it rarely goes below 40 degrees here, unless one goes to the mountains seeking snow, I'm guessing we probably spend a lot less on utility bills. And I believe the intention of the thread was to laugh at gas-hog SUVs, not to diss fellow-NAMsters living in Cali.

BTW, GM's stock dropped $4 yesterday and their sales are down 50%! Think it may have something to do with their poor fleet gas mileage?

Get used to it gent's. Gas for under $2.00 a gallon is history now. At best, we can hope premium stays under $3.00 a gallon for a while.

I think the price of the classic Mini I'm selling is going up. All the dudes with monster V-8's will be lookin' for cheap thrills soon.

I think I'd have to agree with ya ^^^^^^^^^(MINICLO)! It's kinda funny my parents seem to have made my MINI the primary trip vehicle. I think it has something to do with both of their SUVs runnning premium. Just looked at my dad's Lincoln yesterday and he averaged 12 miles per gallon the last tank!
The thing I always tell my friends when they ask me why I drive a MINI, it's smarter, plus I really don't have anything in life I have to compensate for!
Looks like They're comin my way. I HATE INDIANA!! I'm gonna move to Tijuana! There's nicer girls down there!

The MINI owner's manual states that the MINI should be run on premium fuel. However, since California's octane is 91, on my cross-country roadtrips, when I hit 93/94 octane, I fill up on mid-grade every other tank.
