Me too. A nice card arrived from Dana at MINI of Charleston. I think I am going to send them one with a picture of my MINI and me. Maybe they have a bulletin board to show their collection. Happy Holidays to all.

I got a pack of 4 cards from my MINI salesperson. My first MINI package!!!

On the flip side I didn't get a build date for Christmas.

There'll be a MINI bulldog under the tree and I'm optimistic that I'll get a build date in January. (This way I won't have to face snow until next winter).

Life is good, I have a MINI on order. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Wow, I'm so jealous. The only thing I've ever gotten from my dealer was a nasty phone message after I gave them a (most deservedly) low score on their dealer survey.

We got a card, too. Then the next day a thank you note from the owner of the dealership. THEN, the next day, separate thank you notes from our motoring advisor and her manager. THEN, the NEXT day, we got a package with highway bingo, flashcards, a cool floating MINI pen, and some other miscellanuous stuff.

Oh so nice!!

Moodymo: welcome to MCO!

I'm glad you could make your first post about Lori. She deserves all of the great recognition she can get.

See you around on the board. Again, welcome.

I've received two variations of the KLEZ virus from my dealer via email. I called the manager to let him know and he was aware - apparently one of his team brought it in and he has the virus at home now. I told him I'd fly over there and fix his whole network including his home computer on my own dime if they took me from #18 on the list to at least #3. He respectfully declined - I bet people tempt them all the time.

Think that is akin to receiving coal? I don't even have my MINI yet.

Thanks Dave for the welcome. I am pretty active on another board and decided to expand my horizons. You may know me as Equiguy

I also have great praise for Lori AKA MiniQueen.

Cheers

Yes I did. If you check the link at the very top of this post (just above the card), you can see my thread on how I flew out from Denver to buy my MINI from Lori Abrams and then drove it back to Denver from Elmsford. I'm a huge fan of Lori. She has an amazing talent for remembering all the little details of all the spec evolutions I went through. Combine that with her very friendly nature, and you have probably one of the best ambassadors for MINI. I would totally buy another MINI from Lori.

Moodymo: Oh yeah, I have read a lot of your posts as Equiguy. I'm glad to see MCO will be getting to see you hanging out on this board too. Again, welcome. If you have any issues with MCO feel free to private message any of the moderators.

I got one too. Same card. I have to say I never once felt like I was dealing with a car salesman during the whole process. He was more like a friend than anything. It was a great experience!

I received my Mini Christmas cards a few weeks back also. Nice little cards but I hate to send them out for fear that folks might think I'm bragging about my new Mini. Seems like everytime I get my mail Mini is sending me something else. Sure is nice to see a company not forget about their customers.
