Amazing, with all the little problems that MINI's seem to be prone to, we all still LOVE the car. Sometimes windshields don't last, sometimes speakers rattle, sometimes rear cabrio windows explode, etc.

No matter what, we all have a passion for the car that's hard to explain. Agree?

Ok,enough of this yupkind of thing on this thread,I motor in my MINI every day,a lot,100miles to work and back,more as the days get longer and I take longer routes home.I sometimes go 50 miles to get to town,which is only 5 miles away on my days off work.
My car has had problems,not going to get into that here,I love motoring in this car,not speeding,but using the engine and gears to have fun.
Just driving this car at the given speed limit is a joy.
I get to motor in very snowy conditions,and I enjoy pushing the limits in those conditions.Plowing through axle deep snow is par for the course,punching through headlight high drifts,make my daySnow flying over the bonnet,the 4x4s and suvs wondering what is this low slung,little go kart doing out in a snow storm,and moving along just fine,thank you very much
On dry,clear roads,well you all know how much fun that is

 

:smile: I still love peeking out the window to see Wanda parked in the driveway, and cannot believe my good luck: that she is actually MINE...all MINE! Muwahahahahahahaha!!!

My new dilema of the week .... I just put a desposit down at Brecht MINI in San Diego for my new LY MCSc. Do I keep my '02 CR MCS? She has been so good to me. I already have 5 cars in my garage and don't have room for another. I love her and don't want to see her go! Maybe I should look for a new house with a bigger garage .... realtor.com here I come!

I know Yucca and Clo has been over this a million times with me about what I should do. I just clearly cannot find the greatest way to do it. My MCS aka Vader is already crossing the pond, I have a LY/LY MC CVT that is known as the Yellow Bomber, as much as I need to sell it, I cannot get myself to do it. I cry many times thinking about it leaving, as it is my first car, and has had more than a great ammount of memories with it. It is a piece of me. I cannot find a way to keep it though.
