Injured MINI

Thought this was kind of funny. Saw an injured MINI in a parking lot yesterday, and it had a band-aid on it. Only had my camera phone with me, so the image quality isn't great... but still funny

Kind of sad... but at least you know the owner cares enough to put a band-aid on the car until it can get fixed. I am sure it made the MINI feel better!

I never thought of a band aid. When Mini Me gets hurt I just use ducky tap...

By the way the hit looks from the picture it seem the Mini was either hit head on or hit someones tale.

I know this is an old thread now... but since some of you had fun reactions to the picture of the MINI that I posted.. I thought I would let you know that I saw the same MINI again today, and it has been fixed. You can all sleep better tonight! LOL.

Have a nice day all....

That's too funny! I suggested to someone just recently that they put a band-aid on their MINI's wounds. I'm glad the photographed one has "healed".

I love how a lot of the members here ascribe these anthropomorphic qualities to their cars.

Coopersigma, if you dislike this community and the car so much, then what are you doing here?

Kaelaria was much better at it.

Has NAM become so boring that people now need to dig up year old threads?

Yes. When people find something that interests them in year old threads
Kaelaria is awesome.

Kaelaria also knew how to read time tags better than you do, seeing as how it was Short Bus, not myself who drug this thread up from the dregs.

Thanks.

He'd probably had his fill of all the ignorance here and moved on, I imagine.

Man, you're a ray of sunshine Ease up a little and enjoy the day a bit.

Our lovable sourpuss, kaelaria, has been off the board for around 2 months. I don't know if he got his fill of all the ignorance here or not. I think I remember him saying something about moving to a new place, or building a new home. That may have been enough to help him break the NAM habit.

You got me on this one My MINI is a boy. And he's quite happy. I tell him all the time how proud I am of him, how strong he is, and how fast he is. And he loves me, too. He tells me with his supercharger whine and squealing tires. When he gets hurt, you can be sure I'll kiss his boo-boo and put a band-aid on it.

Seriously, we all do this for our MINI's. That's why we're so happy with them. Give it a try before it's too late. You don't want to lose your MINI do you?

(I missed this thread the first time it came around, but in a foolish attempt to bring it back on topic...)

Back in the late 60s/early 70s, you used to be able to buy BIG band-aids for your car. I had a girlfriend with an old VW with one of these on it. Must have been 9 or 10 inches wide, about three feet long. Looked great, especially on an old ratty Beetle.

They used to sell bandaid stickers at the local auto part stores. Then when i went looking for one when i had an accident, they weren't there anymore.

Edit: Actually, I apologize. I wasn't really trying to be a jerk. I was just chuckling about how some people feel about their cars is all. I'm glad you enjoy yours to that degree, man.

You may not THINK you need to, but if you did, you might enjoy it even more.

Back on topic, a MINI rolled at Laguna on Wednesday (driver ok), and someone put a tiny little bandaid on the MINI logo on the bonnet.
