ok - i submitted a new choice to the NJ DMV - should hear in 1-3 days - not going to post my choice until it's confirmed at the risk of jinxing myself...

BUT, the M1NI is a VIP! So, who's the grand 'decider' anyway? We all on NAM believe our MINI's are VIP's
That's kinda dumb - VIPs?? But ah well, I'm sure you can get more creative than that!

Goldilocks - gotta agree with you there - i don't know how these plates get decided upon in Trenton - usually i think they reserve the first 10 numbers for government officials - but i didn't think they would object to the embedded 1 in "M1NI"
oh well, i like my new choice better anyway...

lol Michael - actually i have the plate reserved so no one can get it (if they log to the DMV that choice won't be available) - however i still need approval from the DMV.
I'm superstitious, not cynical...

i wondered too - but i'm not good at these things anyway - my last vanity plate was SYNDSYN which nobody got (Sign Design).

I dunno what that is, but that is a truly personalized plate since only you will know what it means. Guess that's one reason to get a personalized plate.

I got the PM, but then had to google and even now I'm still not sure.... Unobtainium.... as best as I can get from googling a metal that got its name from a scifi movie "The Core" and is resistant to corrosion, fatigue and radiation??
