A usable bike rack for a MC Open...?

Can some one suggest a usable bike rack for a MC Open. The only thing I've seen so far is the minifini ( I think ), but things like price ($560 in parts + install ) and the fact that installation requires two holes to be cut in the bumper makes me have second thoughts. I basically would like to get my 2 bikes to the mountain trail with the top down.

Anny suggestions?

I've installed a couple of Sport Links Bike holders on Convertibles and although there are some downsides, they work really well- especially when you have the top down!

Check out my rear bumper with the sportlink system. I have not had the bikes on the car yet in Chicago but like the idea of a clean system when I am not using the bike holder. I had a saab with a roof mount thule rack and hated the wind noise. Never wanting to open the sunroof. Let me know what you think.

First of all a correction. I meant the SPORTLINK and not minifini.

But, from what I have seen, while on the MCS the sportlink is mounted through the rear bumper grills, on the MC that same setup has to go through the bumper itself, which would require holes to be cut in it. That is one thing I am trying to avoid.
As I said in the original post, the cost plus the fact that the bumper has to be modified is making me have second thoughts. Just wanted to see if there are any alternative solutions.

Just for curiosity's sake: what downsides have you found?
