Hi guys. I have an R53 Cooper S 2003. I recently replaced the head due to a spark plug hole being stripped. I bought the car for cheap due to this issue. I completed the head swap but now I have an issue where the car revs up to 3k on startup. After the revs drop, my idle is about 1500rpm. I’ve scanned for codes and I’ve got P1109. I’ve checked the vacuum hose under the fuel rail, replaced injector o rings and checked IC and TB boots for leaks. So far I can’t see anything. Haven’t checked the vacuum hose for the map sensor because it’s a pain to get to. When I look at the data stream on my scanner. I notice the MAP valve DROPS when I open the throttle, shouldn’t the value climb towards ambient?? I’m stumped
