No A/C and No Blower

06 MCS with Auto Climate Control, currently have no voltage to the compressor and only 8 volts to the blower motor, no mater the speed selected. Checked all fuses, and relays, and tried replacing the blower motor resistor, with no change. Anybody got any ideas on where to even begin to trouble shoot this? Could the Auto Climate controller be bad?

if you have checked fuses, relays and grounds you can buy a new auto climate control unit at: https://www.allmagautoparts.com/

Whoooo slow down. Connect a scan tool and scan for codes in the HAVC control module. I'm not sure on the Gen 1 Coopers, but the Gen 2 coopers have an ambient temp sensor; the AC won't work with it disconnected, but a disconnected sensor will set a code.

Schematic attached.

It should be the same ambient temp that tells you outside temp - my 05 r53 ( manual a/c ) has one - in the bumper impact bar

Looking at the schematic for the R53 MCS, I see an ambient temp sensor, coolant temp sensor, and evap temp sensor. All of these are inputs the DME and the DME control power to the AC compressor via the relay. There is also a AC high-side pressure sensor. If the evap temp or AC high-side pressure is below the set point, the DME won't energize the relay; if the coolant temp is too high, the DME will deenergize the relay and there will be no power to the compressor clutch coil. I'm not sure if the DME requires the ambient temp sensor input on the Gen1 for the Compressor to work ... I'll need to read up.
