Installed new Window regulator and the glass doesn't seal completely now

Anyone know what I am doing wrong. I got the regulator from A-premium. I installed and now there is a gap. I can't figure out if I'm doing some wrong or if this aftermarket regulator is complete crap. Here is what it looks like

When mine went bad, I got a used OE one. Went right in. No issues. Did you try the reset. All the way down - hold for 10 seconds. All the way up. Hold again.

The adjustment you are looking for are the two mounting racks on the bottom of the door. that mounting bracket is a two part (step ladder style) adjuster, with the 10mm bolthead screw from the bottom of the door, by sliding the bracket toward the car moves the top of the window away from the window seal and moving the bracket away from the car moves the top of the window closer to the window seal.

Motor On!

Thanks. I have to get new track adjusters. The plastic was so brittle that I moved it a bit and it cracked. Your advice will help me when the new adjusters come in the mail.

I will try that thanks. The gap was one issue but it also didn't stay up. I'm going to try holding it for 10 seconds to my get it to close at the top.

I did my driverside last month and it really was a pain to get it aligned properly. Took me about 1.5h to get them right.

My issue was not just this gap but also at the top and the angle the window sits in the regulator.

There is a lot of wiggle room for the glass to sit in the regulator. Don't assume that if its sitting in the white round window regulator thingies the alignment is done. I needed to lift and push the glass to toward the door handle and then tighten the two big gears holding the glass into place.

Good luck

the plastic adjusters at the bottom of the door do not adjust the window height. they do adjust the window angle. however if they are missing that could effect the height. prob just need those in place.

the height is adjusted at the two big gear looking bolts as far as i know

i had this same issue. also an aftermarket regulator

Both Bowers and soliman are correct for adjusting/closing the left and right (front and back), gap via the 10mm bolts at the bottom of the door.
Seems moving/sliding the bolts in the way you'd think to adjust the glass in or out was completely backward in my experience. Moving the bolt away from the car moved the glass inward towards the door seal - in which closed the gap in mine.
Good luck.

If you haven't done this already, raise the window and hold the switch for 5 seconds. Then lower the window and hold the switch for 5 seconds. That will align the window vertically.
