R50 Muffler Upgrade

I have a stock 2003 R50 and I’m quite surprised at the volume of the stock exhaust, though I’d prefer it to be a bit louder. Full on catback systems are ridiculously expensive for this car, so I’m thinking about just swapping the muffler at the end with a louder muffler than the stock one to give the car a bit sportier of a sound. What mufflers do you guys think sound pretty good on these cars? I’m also thinking about doing a resonator delete with the stock muffler as it does have a nice tone.

I had a Walker 23066 catback exhaust on a R50. That's a replacement for the R50 JCW exhaust and sounds a bit sportier. Here in Europe it was very cheap, around €150.

With the tip that was recommended it looked nice as well.

We have milltek, scorpion, borla, magnaflow, Remus ...etc Most of these are louder then stock but dont drone. Borla is about the loudest.

BRE exhaust for stock. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-brexhaus.../106-0242~brx/ Possible the closest in design (JCW sound kit) and sound to louder then stock, but not by much.

The Scorpion cat back system is pretty nice and the most affordable system available for the R50. I hear the Milltek is amazing, but can’t afford anything near that much unfortunately
