HI new member, first question.
I have 2 newly acquired Min Coopers , one a 2002 , the other a 2005. On the 2002, I need to get at the EHPS relay, as I think it's gone. Already installed a New PS fan , tested and it works, radiator fan works on both speeds, new power steering pump, but no power getting to the PS fan. All fuses tested and good
I have taken the side cover plastic partially off , but couldn't see that relay. It it actually Behind the fuse box ?
Thanks for the help.. repair manual coming next week
Great news. Found the fuse that powers the fan in my early 2002 mini. pre 3/2002. I couldn't find the K69923 Relay , even behind the interior fuse box, but found this small box with 1 fuse in it under the hood , by the ABS brake lines. It was blown. Changed it and voila, power steering fan now works as required. When i bought the car, the fan was seized, so it would have blown the fuse. Thought someone else might need this !!
Although my Mini is an R53 (it doesn't have this fuse box in this location) - I find this kind of information exceptionally useful for those who have had this problem with their "just-a 's".
Some of these fuses can be a real PIA to find across the production/model/years in these cars.
Good to know.
Thanks!
