Hatch may be bent?

Hey folks 2005 R53 here.
The drivers side of the hatch is protruding above the rest of the body mostly in the upper part its a bit out and up. How can I fix this? Do I mess with the mounting bracket? The hatch itself?
I have a little video here if it helps but its kind of shitty sideways. Sorry I am a boomer.

Sounds like the drivers side hatch hinge might be frozen from rust. I haven’t seen a post about this in a while but it was fairly common before. If the hinges aren’t lubricated periodically they can eventually lock up and start bending. This leads to the deformation you might be experiencing, and eventually they snap from metal fatigue and you end up with the title in the first thread below.

Thank you for the links. My car spent 95% of its life in the deep snow free south and is free of rust in that area. Perhaps it was some accident that bent it? I might take the hinges off and compare them.
The very bottom part of the hatch corner fits flush but as it goes up it becomes more proud and sticks out.
