Front bumper

I’m m looking at replacing my front bumper skin. Does anyone have experience with the Aero bumper

Post number 61 has all the info on the aero front bumper, just remember our is the euro type without the front reflectors. The USA type is nla and no one is remaking that one.

I don’t mind no reflectors. I know it’s a lot more money, but what’s your take on the Garbino? I think the whole kit looks nice, but i don’t know any specs on it, like quality or if there’s a weight difference. I’m thinking about a custom tubular crash bar in lieu of factory due to a custom fmic.

Garbnio bumper is very nice but will take some time to get in as they are hand made in japan. They are custom FRP, fiberglass reinforced plastic. Much like the same as libertywalk and duell ag. It will be slightly heavier then the plastic bumper. But not by much.

Downside to frp is it doesn’t respond well to deformation, ie it cracks if you tap a curb stop, or bottom out crossing an intersection, etc. unlike plastic that will take the hit and bounce back even if it scratches paint or even plastic.
