Hi,

I changed the hatch latch, but I still couldn't get it to open, so I changed the switch and that seemed to fix it. The interior light and the warning light are both indicating that the hatch isn't fully closed. I've tried pushing on it, but it doesn't seem to help. The latch seems to be adjusted correctly. Where is the sensor that "sees" whether or not the hatch is shut, is it built into the latch? I'm considering whether or not to put the original latch back in the car.
